Nov 23

I just was happy being with my mom and dad.  Dave was a good sport.

This is houses along the railroad track.  I have been to places that were poor but never anything like here.  Naga is very different than Manila.  It isn't commercialized at all.  There is a lot of poverty.  The houses are small and either made with cement or wood.  Some houses have no windows or doors.   The people are so kind though.

We played games some nights.

There are security guards everywhere.  To get into the SM which is the grocery store or the mall you have to go through a metal detector and they look through your purse.  If you have bags from the mall and want to go to the grocery store you have to go check them in at the counter and pick them up when you are finished.

The SM doesn't have very much American food to purchase.  They have chips and some cookies but it is about $7 US dollars to purchase it.  They have cheese sometimes and a few other things you can get randomly.  My mom stocks up when she sees these things.
