After a month of being away from Dave I was missing him and stressed with work and other things.  I came home to 2 dozen roses on my front door.  He is so sweet.  He knew I was struggling and sent me these to cheer me up!  :)

We had a baby shower at my moms for my cousin Kaitlin.  It was so fun to visit with everyone.  We don't get together enough!

The high school functional skills teacher, Greg asked Dave to play the drums for the prom dinner for some of the kids in his class and peer tutors. I of course invited myself! It was a lot of fun to see old students all dressed up and having such a great time.

Dave and I celebrated our 5th anniversary! We went out to Maddox for dinner.  Dave headed off to sale for the summer the next day. :(

J started soccer.  Enjoyed watching him play.  He still wasn't sure what to think about it.  He need to always take "breaks" and come sit and visit with us. :)

I went with some teachers in my district to the Significant Cognitive Disabilities conference in Provo.  I love going to the conferences because I always learn new things and I enjoy being with my coworkers.  Eileen is one of my bosses at the district office.  She received an award.

Dave's dad came and stayed with me for a few days so he could go visit Cory.  I made baked potatoes for dinner one night.  I guess I didn't poke enough holes in it and it EXPLODED!  How embarrassing!!

My friend Kristi from work is getting married.  Our department had a shower for her at Idle Isle Cafe. 

My parents FINALLY got their mission call.  By now we knew they were going to be mission presidents but not sure where.  They turned their paper in November.  We all wrote down where we thought they would go.  I went on the church site for mission presidents 3 years early and printed the list since they would be getting replaced this year.  I wanted London, Hawaii, or Austrailia. :)  They got called to the Naga Phillipines mission.  The Phillipines had ALOT of open missions.  The church opened quiet a few missions this year.  It is exciting to see the growth. My parents took us to Moore's cafe to open their call.  I am excited for them because I think they will do a great job and touch a lot of lives but 3 years is a long time to be away from them! :(  Before they knew where they were going they told us they would fly us each out once.  Little did they know how expensive plane tickets would be..... we are still holding them to it!! :)

The snow this winter has been insane!  I am done with the cold and snow...

We went to visit Cory in rehab.  They had some horses they work with there.

Dave and Cory of course had to battle it out on the ping pong table.  It was nice seeing Cory.  He is such a good guy.

On New Years Eve we hung out with Maddie and Kyle.  We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then back to our house to hang out.

My principal gave Mango a few outfits.  They are expensive and didn't fit her dog.  Mango wasn't sure what to think of them...... We loved them though ;)

Dave bought a snow blower....  It did snow a lot so it was helpful.

After the first few snowstorms it wasn't as exciting to use. :)

We went to a trampoline place in Orem with Cami & James, Maddie & Kyle, and Brooke & Brian. It was a lot of fun.  Sure wish we lived closer to them!!  My back was bothering me so I didn't dare do anything but I had sooo much fun watching them!!
