Dave's band concerts

I had to put this light on our blog because Dave is so sad. Dave took this light to his concert on campus Thursday night (yes it is the same sign Danny and Cory put in my living room window...) and it broke after the concert. He has been sad since then so I am putting it on here to make him happy!

Dave had 2 concerts this past week. He played on campus Thursday night and at a bar on Friday night. He is having a lot of fun being able to play his guitar since he isn't able to play it is way loud and we don't want the neighbors to hate us! Here are some pictures and videos. The video quality is not the greatest but you can see Dave playing the guitar behind his back and lighting his guitar on fire at the end of the show. He is a very good entertainer and everyone that hears him is amazed at how well he plays. I am proud of him! Thanks Danny and Candace for coming to his show!

1 year anniversary

We had our 1 year anniversary on Saturday. We went to Salt Lake for the day. We went shopping and then ate at Tacanos Brazilian Grill! We stayed the night at a cute bed and breakfast in Salt Lake. It was fun to get away even if it was just a night. It has been a crazy few weeks with getting my portfolio done and Dave's school work. I can't believe it has been a year. It seems like it hasn't been that long but at the same time seems like it has been forever:) I am so happy that I met Dave and he decided to marry me!! I love him so much even though he is so weird most of the time! :) Dave is heading out to New York today and I am going to miss him so much. It is sad the summer is already starting. The summers are not always the funnest for us anymore. It is good to live in new places but we both work so much so we don't get to do a lot of fun things. Hopefully this summer we will get some more fun in.

I have a job!

I officially have a job for next year!! I am so excited to have my own classroom! I will be teaching at an elementary school in Tremonton. I am not a big fan of Tremonton so this will be interesting! :) Don't be mad Randi Jo!! We are now trying to figure out where to live... I am trying to find a way that make sense to Dave for us to live in Perry. I am not sure it is working to well!

Dave's concert and Cory's visit

Dave's band had their first concert in Ogden a few weekends ago. Dave is so talented, it was fun to watch him! Dave enjoys playing but wishes they played a little softer stuff.

We had Dave's brother Cory stay with us for a week or so. He is going to be graduating from high school this year and we are trying to get him to come to Utah State!! I am not sure if we convinced him or not... We had a lot of fun while he was here as well as some adventures. We loved having Cory here and hope that he comes out to Utah. Poor Cory was probably bored while he was here since Dave and I were always at school. Cory did come to school with me one day and helped in the 3rd grade class. He did so well and the kids loved him! Danny, Dave's brother that is going to BYU also came up on the weekend. I can't believe I didn't get any pictures while they were here.

We went to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho and it turned into an adventure. One of Dave and my friends came with us. He forgot his swim suit in the car and went back to get it. The key broke in the lock and we were stranded in good ole' Idaho! My parent luckily were able to bring a spare key to Logan and his wife brought the key to us. The worst part of all of this was what Danny and Cory put in the window at my apartment that my parents saw....a blinking neon "Live Nudes" sign! My parents didn't think it was so funny and I am not sure what all of my neighbors think....I figured something to that nature would happen with all these boys together!
