1st half of December

Doesn't Dave look so cute putting the lights up on the Christmas tree!

Dave's cousin passed away the beginning of December. Dave's mom, sister, and nephew Troy came out for a few days to go to the funeral in Idaho. It was a sad time for them and it was hard to have fun when everyone was hurting so much. Kirsten helped decorate the Christmas tree.

Baby Troy! He is so much bigger from when we went to Nauvoo!

We had a dinner with some of my best friends from high school and their husbands. It was so fun getting together with them. I wish we were able to hang out more!

We had my immediate family Christmas party one evening. We ate dinner, played Christmas Family Feud, opened white elephant gifts, and hung out.

Dave got fireworks for his white elephant gift..... he may or may not have lit them IN my mom's house and ran outside after they were going off. Only Dave!

My awesome family!

Thanksgiving

Dave's Oma had a scary few weeks and was not doing well. We made a last minute decision to go to Chicago for Thanksgiving to visit his Oma and Opa.

On the way to Chicago we stopped in Omaha and visited Matt and Caramie. It was soooo good to see them. We miss them so much!

On Thanksgiving I made turkeys with apples and candies to put on the table. These are my cute niece and nephews (Lydia, Dalton, and James).

James and Dalton probably being crazy! :)

Cute Oma and Opa. I really love these two. They are so sweet and funny. Oma doesn't always have a filter and I love hearing what she will say next. They are so cute together. Opa goes to the nursing home every morning at 8:00 and leaves at 8:00 at night. He just keeps her company. Since our visit she has improved and will be getting surgery in the next few weeks and will hopefully be able to go home. We are both so happy she is getting better!

Dave with Oma and Opa.

We were able to go into Chicago one day and went to the Kris Kindle Mart (A bunch of German stores). This year it was soooo packed we didn't stay very long.

Lydia and Dalton waiting for everyone to get back.

October Happenings

Dave turned 27 at the end of October. Dave and Leslie have the same birthday so it was fun to celebrate their birthdays together . We went to Maddox and then back to our house for cake and ice cream.

I can't find the picture of Dave blowing out his candles.

Dave was in his friend's wedding line in Boise.

His friend Trevor that got married and his wife had all the cars in the parking lot decorated. I thought that was very unique ha ha.

I had the ladies I work with in my room over for dinner. It was a lot of fun. We try to have a get together a few times a year. I am VERY lucky to work with the ladies that I do. They are amazing and are great at what they do. We have had a lot of unique and challenging few years and they are the best!

Dave had an idea to try and scare the trick-or-treaters. Sad to say, his brilliant idea didn't work. He was disappointed. :)

We went with my family to Peach City. I haven't been in years and it was really good and fun! I kinda like my family!

This is my CUTE nephew Jarrett! He is my little pal. When Dave was out of town one weekend J came and stayed the night to keep me safe. :) This kid has WAY to much energy. We watched 5 different movies in an hour period. He may or may not have a short attention span....
