Thanksgiving

Dave's Oma had a scary few weeks and was not doing well. We made a last minute decision to go to Chicago for Thanksgiving to visit his Oma and Opa.

On the way to Chicago we stopped in Omaha and visited Matt and Caramie. It was soooo good to see them. We miss them so much!

On Thanksgiving I made turkeys with apples and candies to put on the table. These are my cute niece and nephews (Lydia, Dalton, and James).

James and Dalton probably being crazy! :)

Cute Oma and Opa. I really love these two. They are so sweet and funny. Oma doesn't always have a filter and I love hearing what she will say next. They are so cute together. Opa goes to the nursing home every morning at 8:00 and leaves at 8:00 at night. He just keeps her company. Since our visit she has improved and will be getting surgery in the next few weeks and will hopefully be able to go home. We are both so happy she is getting better!

We were able to go into Chicago one day and went to the Kris Kindle Mart (A bunch of German stores). This year it was soooo packed we didn't stay very long.

Lydia and Dalton waiting for everyone to get back.

fun times! thankfully Oma looks MUCH better than that now (but such a sweet picture of the two of them). they went home this week and are stressfully adjusting to new life at home.
