Outer Banks

For my birthday Dave and I headed to the Outer Banks!  It was somewhere I have always wanted to go.  It was a very short trip but very fun.  We took off Sunday morning and left Tuesday around noon.  Dave was so sweet and took Monday off of work which is very hard for him to do.  It meant so much to me.  We stayed in Kill Devil Hills.  Our hotel was right on the beach so we were loving it.

Dave on the beach.  Don't worry his feet and the sand are the same color!

We had to take our dog.... it turned out okay.  Mango ate so much sand, it was awful!  Mangs and I hanging out at the beach.

Craziest thing!  A drive though convient store.  So naturally we had to try it.

 Waiting for our order

 Went mini golfing

Dave and I before I kicked his butt!!

 I won!!

The next morning Dave decorated our hotel room while I took a shower.  I was so surprised. Sorry I don't know how to do a collage.

I was spoiled by him and my mom

How cute is he ha ha

 Mango chillin

 Dave was loving life

Went to the Outback Steakhouse for my birthday dinner

The family I nannied for was in the Outer banks so we were able to visit with them a few times.  It was a lot of fun!  They stayed in Duck which was a bit away.  We had cake and ice cream Monday night with them.

The Cake Dave got me!  So oceanie :)

How fun! I love the decorated hotel room! (I'm using lots of exclamation points, it was a good day/post!)
OH! There was a drive through convenience store in Grants Pass! (but we never tried it). It eventually folded. AND, I don't know how to do a collage either. bummer.
