Dave didn't stop smiling (P.S. this LITTLE (8 oz.) can of coke cost $6.00 too bad for diabetes.)

In Bologna we hung out in the main square and surrounding shopping areas. There is a pretty church there. Johnny met up with a sweet lady from his mission. Dave and I found a McDonald's to eat at. Believe it or not, Italian food in Italy is not as good as American Italian. After a few days we were ready for something different. McDonald's was pretty good but not quite the same. :)
As we were walking around we found this Mercedes store. They sell clothes, watches, and other random things. Dave was annoyed at it ha ha. The guy at the store gave us a catalog and put it in an expensive bag... kind of weird!
In the 12th and 13th century rich families built towers for different reasons, it is believed there was around 180 of them. These are some of the remaining towers. Johnny, Kim, and their friend climbed it.... we didn't :) They both lean somewhat and if I understand correctly, they had to remove some of the tower that is only half as tall because it was leaning so badly.

Later that night we went to see the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of San Luca. It is a church on a hill. Back in the day you had to walk it, it is 3km. The sidewalk is covered in a beautiful arch the whole way. It was amazing at night. We drove up close to the top and walked.
Everything is so beautiful here!
