Jan. - Friends

Dave's work office is split up between Victorville, Lancaster, Palmdale, and Valencia.  It is different than alarms.  With alarms the office was in the same apartment complex and so it was easy and fun to get together with everyone during the day.  With Solar everyone rents a house so everyone is separated.  There are some that live in Victorville which is about an hour and fifteen minutes east of us, also in the high desert.  Some live in Palmdale which is about 15 minutes south of us.  A few live in Valencia which is between 45 minutes to an hour southwest of us.  Stacey and Dusty are the only other ones that live in Lancaster.  They live about 10 miunutes from our house.  It is nice having someone else close by.
One Saturday, about two or three weeks after we moved here, Bree had a brunch at her house with most of the wives.  Bree lives in Victorville.  Her husband is the manager for our office.  It was nice to meet the other wives.  Bree, Sarah, Emma, and I are pregnant in the picture.

My friend Amber lives in Hesperia which is next to Victorville.  We grew up a few houses away from each other.  I was able to stop by and visit her after the brunch.  I LOVED seeing her and meeting her sweet baby.  She also gave me a swing, bath tub, and a bunch of other baby items.  It was such a blessing!! I am so excited to have a friend close by.

Some of Dave's friends from the summer alarm office were selling one weekend in a city close to where we live.  We were able to meet up with them for dinner.  They ate at Bdubs of course.  :(

We also found out that we live 45 minutes to 1 hour away from some of our college Aggie friends.  It was so fun to meet up with them for dinner.  They took us to an amazing BBQ place.  They have the best garlic rolls ever!
